Crescom, a company specializing in medical artificial intelligence, presented at the Korea-Vietnam Medical AI Cooperation Forum and strengthened its cooperation with Vietnam.

Crescom, led by CEO Jae Joon Lee, has announced its participation in the '2023 Korea-Vietnam Medical Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Transformation (DX) Cooperation Forum' held in Hanoi, Vietnam. The event is being organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam.

At the forum, Jae Joon Lee, CEO of Crescom, presented "Artificial Intelligence for Musculoskeletal Medical Imaging and Child Growth Analysis." During the presentation, he introduced MediAI-BA, an artificial intelligence solution for analyzing bone age (growth plates) that can contribute to healthy child growth. He also presented MediAI-OA, an AI-based solution for screening knee arthritis that was developed and piloted for the Health Insurance Review and Assessment (HIRA) Service.

The demonstration of the artificial intelligence solution at the Crescom booth received significant attention from the Vice Minister of Science and Technology of Vietnam, as well as local medical officials who visited the booth. Furthermore, two days of comprehensive meetings were conducted for local adoption and collaboration with the local community. Crescom's artificial intelligence bone age growth analysis solution is expected to accelerate the development of the Vietnamese medical field. Follow-up meetings will be held with medical officials who share a strong consensus on the potential of the solution to promote the healthy growth of children and adolescents in the local community.

This solution has been confirmed to have high accuracy and satisfaction by hundreds of hospitals in Korea." "In addition, we will continue our efforts to provide timely and accurate medical analysis services more conveniently in overseas markets through MediAI-BA and MediAI-OA, both of which have demonstrated excellent performance."
