Crescom (CEO Jae Joon Lee), a company specializing in artificial intelligence medical analysis solutions, announced on September 14th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Samitivej Public Company Limited, one of Thailand's largest private hospital groups, and NIPA (National IT Industry Promotion Agency), for global collaboration and cooperation in medical AI software.

Through this agreement, Crescom has signed a cooperation agreement with Samitivej Hospital to conduct testing in the Thai medical field through an empirical pilot project. In addition, a three-party global cooperation with the National IT Industry Promotion Agency has made it possible to collaborate on the advancement and promotion of Korea's innovative medical artificial intelligence software in Thai medical institutions.

MediAI-BA is an artificial intelligence bone age growth analysis solution that utilizes a hybrid method based on Crescom's patented technology. It aims to overcome the limitations of the current bone age reading techniques, GP and TW3 while incorporating their respective strengths. It will be piloted in Samitivej hospital in Thailand.

CEO Crescom said, "By signing an MOU with Samitivej Hospital in Thailand, we will help increase work efficiency and improve healthcare by implementing our medical artificial intelligence software in Thai medical institutions. This will further enhance patient and guardian’s satisfaction through advanced services and we look forward to it." he said. "MediAI-BA is expanding its services to include more advanced growth analysis and growth care, through continuous updates on software. In addition to Korea, we plan to promote various global cooperation and projects to contribute to the healthier growth of children and adolescents in many countries, including Thailand.", “Additionally, pilot use of the MediAI-OA solution in Thai hospitals is under discussion.” he said.

Samitivej Public Company is a hospital group consisting of seven hospitals, including a children's hospital in Thailand, and a hospital in Myanmar. In 2018, it was selected as one of the top five hospital groups in the world for medical tourism by the Medical Travel Quality Alliance.
